Hon Ayuba Burki Gufwan Donates Tricycles to Qua'an Pan Local Government - Calls for Inclusion of People Living with Disability in Government Programmes and Policies.

Yesterday the 25th of July, 2019 will remain indelible in the memory of the people of Qua'an Pan Local Government Area as the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center Jos through it's CEO, Hon Ayuba Burki Gufwan donated fifty five (55) tricycles to the Local Government Council for distribution to people living with disability in the locality.

The donation took place at the council secretariat, Baap and had in attendance; Hon Isaac Kyale Kwallu, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, his Deputy, appointees, members of the legislative council, Directors, community leaders, DPO of the Local Government and beneficiaries among many others present.

During his presentation of the tricycles to the chairman of the council, Hon Burki tasked the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the mobility appliances. He made an appeal to the local government to include people living with disability in it's programmes and policies.

Hon Isaac Kwallu appeciated the Beautiful Gate Foundation for finding Qua'an Pan people eligible and privileged to share in their wealth of care for the down trodden which he described as an act of love. He promised that his administration will partner with the foundation and announced that skill acquisition programme will be organized for the beneficiaries to make them self reliant.

Mamman Idi, a community leader and  Danladi one of the beneficiaries who spoke applauded the foundation for the gesture.

Earlier during the week, Hon Ayuba Burki gave scholarship to the three (3) best graduating students of Girls Model Junior Secondary School, Zaron - Faron in Barkin Ladi LGA during their graduation ceremony where he served as Chairman of the occasion. He made a plea to government for the upgrade of the school from Junior Secondary school to a full fledge secondary school.
