PLATEAU NEEDS A JAGABAN YOUTH INCLUSION IN GOVERNANCE

PLATEAU NEEDS A JAGABAN
YOUTH INCLUSION IN GOVERNANCE is paramount for any nation (or State) to develop it's potentials). Introduction of youths in governance as machinery drivers will always pay off because of the energy, strength, innovations and of course, promotion of mentorship. it builds unalloyed loyalty that will always be assured.
A young man in 1999 saw it and he took advantage of it. Today, he is a household name greatly celebrated. His name; Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
It is on record that before his swearing-in, Tinubu put out a list of very competent individual devoid of friendship or State of origin, very intelligent young men who with the exception of some few, were below 45. Today, non is a failed case Check this out.

In all of this, two things are prominent, age and intelligence crown by opportunity and chance. The world is seriously evolving, what works in 1999 may not work in 2019. All this great men who changed the fortune of Lagos are hardly efficient now except few of course. This indicates that for us to move ahead, new ideas must evolve. You can never become a household name without mentoring the younger generation. Giving me 10k can never buy my loyalty to you, it goes beyond that.
I am glad we have a Governor in Plateau state who shares in the same dream. We have witnessed the appointment of youths as DGs of Peace Agency and Plateau Information Technology Development Agency in the person of Joseph Lengman and David Daser respectively and Plateau must confess that new ideas that are models for other states have been injected already. We had for the first time, a crop of under 40yrs as Special Assistant to Governor on Information Technology. We have Three young commissioners doing great, (Jude Dakur, Pam Botman and Victor Lapang ). Hon. Mafeng Gwolson did quite well in Room LGA as Transition Chairman, now Quan Paan is blessed with another under 45 yrs as Chairman and he is setting an awesome paste. Do we need a sooth sayer?
Until our leaders begin to understand that leadership as a Governor requires experience but steeringg the wheels of Governance requires more than political intelligence, our growth will be slow.
I pray our listening Governor will inject more youths into his cabinet and then, the world will witness an emergence of another JAGABAN in the middle belt. Mentor a youth, secure a Glorious old age. May the soul of Baba Solomon Lar rest in peace*
