My Message to Plateau State Governor
Barr. Simon Bako Lalong

I have taken my time to ponder on the recent appointment or was it election of my state governor, H.E. Barr. Simon Bako Lalong as the chairman of the Northern Governors forum and may I start by joining all well wishers in rejoicing with His Excellency for this good thing that has come to us, owing the fact that this was the first a plateau leader would be considered in such a revered position among all his colleagues the northern state governors over the years.
I think as the spokesperson of the third force political party in Plateau state, The Action Democratic Party, let me state clearly here that we remain an objective and positive opposition in the state and would continue to offer ourselves for positive building of our dear state.
Mr governor Sir, our hearts was glad when received the news of this elevation and your subsequent visits to some highly placed security personnel's and your resolved to address all the security challenges within this zone I have no doubt that as human whatever we determine to achieve and with all that takes to be successful at our disposal nothing can stop us from making a head way.
Mr governor Sir, permit me to appeal to you that this trust bestowed on you by your colleagues could be litmus test so as to prove a point to the fact that you are a Christian and a Plateau man who's state have experience crisis over and over again.
May I also call on you to come back home and never make Abuja your resident home so that you can stop the killings in the state and convinced your doubters that your second tenure indeed must be different.
May I also advice that your five point agenda be transformed into three point namely, Security, Healthcare and Development which could reduced expenditure on appointees and still achieve what you set up to achieve.
As the chairman northern state governors we look forward to you ending the killings in Plateau first, then Nassarawa, Benue, Taraba, Katsina, Yobe, Borno, Kaduna, Yobe and Zanfara.
We look forward to seeing Plateau redeem its glory in the area of tourism, agriculture, and peaceful coexistence among various tribes and nationalities, we hope to see a transformed Plateau that will be the envy of all including those living outside this country.
Sir, we look forward to seeing an all inclusive government that would carry every Plateau person along, we look forward to seeing you succeed on your new role as governor elect for Plateau state and chair of the northern state governors forum. Thank you and God bless Plateau.
