COVID-19 PANDEMIC: MESSAGE OF HOPE TO PLATEAU CITIZENS FROM ARC. DAVOU PAM

COVID-19 PANDEMIC: MESSAGE OF HOPE TO PLATEAU CITIZENS FROM ARC. DAVOU PAM

The rise in the cases of COVID 19 popularly known and called the Corona Virus and its status on world economy is fast becoming pretty scary. The projections by the W.H.O  and other relevant organizations about the possible havoc this disease will wreck in Nigeria and Africa are no doubt important to consider especially in the context of our own responsibility as individuals to take all necessary measures in safeguarding ourselves in the face of this global epidemic.
While it is very important for us to understand the nature and mode of the spread of the virus as well as taking precautionary measures to curb it's spread, we must also keep hope alive at this critical moment in our lives.
Fear is the number one killer in any emergency situation such as this. Fear can lead to rash decisions with more severe consequences and can lead to more severe damages as witnessed in the brutal deceit which led to salt intake during the Ebola saga.
In light of this, I urge every citizens of Plateau State and Nigeria to sieve through every information coming your way before taking necessary actions. Ensure you wash and sanitize  your hand regularly and observe good hygiene practices.

I believe absolutely that Corona Virus will not have a space to occupy in Nigeria. Like it's Twin brother Ebola, which met it's Waterloo in Nigeria, Corona Virus is about to see its end in the few days and weeks coming.
While we comment our governments at Federal and state levels for the giant steps taken so far, we urge that they should not relent in their efforts to see to the total eradication of the disease in Nigeria.

Let's Pray for all the victims of the dreaded disease and let's commit the whole world to God the creator

God bless the Plateau Youth Council, God bless Plateau State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

I  am Arc. Pam Davou and I'm asking you to please stay safe. God bless you
