Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan Distributes Tricycles - Wheelchairs to Person's Living with Disability in Zinariya Community - Offers Scholarship and Vocational Training.

As part of efforts towards rehabilitating polio survivors and people living with disabilities, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan has donated wheelchairs, tricycles, and crutches to persons living with disability in Zinariya Community of Jos North, Plateau State.
Chief Ayuba Burki who is the CEO of Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center, Jos distributed the mobility appliances at no cost to the beneficiaries during a programme organised by Zinariya Youth Movement.
According to him, the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center, Jos which engages in research, rehabilitation, education and advocacy for all persons living with disabilities has distributed close to twenty thousand wheelchairs and tricycles across Nigeria, enrolled over four hundred handicapped in vocational trainings, and scholarships to handicapped persons in different institutions within Nigeria.
He charged the beneficiaries not to be despaired by their condition as there is ability in disability citing the case of President Roosevelt of America who despite been crippled by polio went on to become the President of that country and tasked spirited individuals in the society to lend their support and advocacy to vocational and educational advancement of people living with disability.
Guests at the occasion which held at the conference hall of Sharna Hotel, Bauchi Road Jos commended Chief Burki for the donation.
Chief Burki offered his foundation assistance of vocational training and education scholarship to beneficiaries.
