MESSAGE TO ALL ELECTED POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS BY COMR. KUMWEN WALHAK MUSA.
I bring to you warm solidarity greetings in the name of our unshakable democracy!
First, accept my warmest congratulations for coming out victorious at the polls.
As you prepare to be inaugurated, my prayers and best wishes are with you for a successful inauguration. However, I charge you to take this article into full cognizance and ensure your responsibilities serious.
You are fully aware that your victory at the polls was possible because you were voted by the majority for different reasons. Therefore, the mandate bestowed on you is the voice of the people which should not be taken for granted.
Like I said in the above paragraph, different people voted you for different reasons. Some, because of your blueprints, some, because of your leadership prowess, and some perhaps, because they believe in you. As you are inaugurated, I want to remind you to first, fulfill the public and individual promises you made during the electioneering campaigns before anything else because sooner or later, we will begin to remind you of some of those promises if you do not fulfill them.
I am passionate about the growth and development of Nigeria and Plateau state, therefore, I shall place an eagle eye to ensure the right thing is done. I shall continue to criticize where necessary until we get it right.
To those elected in these positions: Senator representing Plateau central, Member representing Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam federal constituency and member representing Pankshin South constituency, I want to remind you that these are my constituencies and your blueprints are fully documented. The promises you made to the people during the electioneering campaigns are fully noted and well documented for reference purpose. We shall keep reminding you until you fulfill them all. We will not hesitate to begin a legal recall process if you fail to represent us well.
Our people deserve the best representation this time around and we will not seat to watch you misuse the mandate we have bestowed on you.
In conclusion, as you assume this office, kindly put the interest of the people first before your own personal interests. I pray God gives you enough wisdom like that of King Solomon so as to pilot the affairs of the office that you have been elected to man very well!
Long live the federal Republic of Nigeria, Long live Plateau state, Long live Plateau central senatorial district, Long live Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam federal constituency, long live Pankshin south constituency.
Yours in the struggle for a better Nigeria!
~~Comr. Kumwen Walshak Musa~~
