STAND in the booth not for short term expediency BUT generations to come.
LET US long for a Plateau with not only infrastructure development in the sense of building but ALSO infrastructure development of our minds.
A Plateau When our minds will be evenly liberated,the mediocre politics we have witnessed will be six feets down.
A Plateau where we'll wrestle with ideas and not with fists,kicks,weapons or arms.
A Plateau where there will be no environment for beneficiaries of tribal and religion hatespeaches.
A Plateau where OUR DESTINY as a people will not only be decided within the lifespan of constitutional 4years but rather with deep DIVINE MANDATE realising a more clearer VISION 2050.
Since from the inception of plural politics in 1999,Plateau people has been known to be a people that co-exist without dispising one another's political affiliations and opinions amid tight maintainance of the norms,values and culture of respect for leaders and the spirit of fellow feeling in compliance with the moral fabrics of our intimately woven traditional and customary ideologies .
With my scant knowledge, I have never witnessed post elections violence during Governorship elections in the state.However, signing the peace Pact has a significant mental shift to ALL peace Loving people of Plateau State.
May God be with us ALL as we get to decide for temporal governance while waiting for Heavenly Kingdom that will wipe every tear in totality.
